Options with SACS 5.1 SP3
The new release of SACS 5.1 Service Pack 3
includes new features compatible with the latest version of StruCAD*3D
Version 4.3 Service Pack 1. These features include weight definitions,
master/slave joint couplings and moving loads. These StruCAD*3D
compatible features have been greatly enhanced to be more
straightforward in understanding, more convenient in defining and more
flexible in functioning.

Basic FEM Enhancements
The finite element capabilities of the SACS suite have been
strengthened and enhanced. The improved capabilities are a result of both a new
development push and strategic partnerships formed with finite element software packages
such as FEMGV. The new technology and partnerships should ensure that the SACS software
system can be used for all aspects of offshore structural analysis including determining
stresses, displacements, and pressure distributions on structures ranging from hulls of
floating structures to structural components such as bulkhead framing, tubular
connections, lift appurtenances, etc.
