What's New in SACS 5.1
updates:
Data Generator Module Version 5.1.02
- Enhanced the program so that when inserting a plate
group line PGRUP, the program does not add a stiffener location unless a stiffener section has been specified
- The FTCASE lines in the insert line section have
been rearranged to reflect 1. Deterministic Fatigue Case, 2. Wind Fatigue Case and 3.
Spectral Fatigue Case.
- The FTCASE line for deterministic analyses has been
enhanced to include the wave height which is required when interpolating damage. The help
on the number of occurrences has also been expanded.
- Corrected Sacs to Wamit input units for weight on
Weight line for metric KN unit set so that units are labeled as KN.
- Fixed problem where program was terminating when
trying to perform a back-up save on a new blank file opened using File/New when another
file was already open.
- Corrected problem where data was placed out of
sequence when block copying large amounts of data at the end of the file by highlighting,
copying then pasting.
- Added the 'R' option in column 20 on the Hydro line
which includes hydro-check in the member detail and summary and subtracts the axial force
from the Euler buckling term.
- Fixed problem where program was terminating when
blocking large amounts of data (at least 80 lines) by holding the CTRL-Down arrow key
until 80 lines were blocked (filled up the buffer) then hit cut.
- Added support for STCMB line for a spectral wind
analysis in Dynamic Response.
- Included the PGRDEL and PLTDEL lines for Launch
analysis which allows plate groups and plates to be removed, respectively.
- Updated Engine Vibration automatic file generation
procedure to prompt the user if more unbalanced loads are to be input before another
running speed is defined.
- Added the capability to add more LDFAC lines for
gas torque input for engine
vibration analyses.
