always drawn and plates are often shown incorrectly
Precede Module Version 5.1.04 5/31/02 Improved load display feature to handle
distributed moments. Corrected Save As feature so that the
default file name is not corrupted when no file ID is set in the Executive. Adds load condition header when model
only contains a joint displacement and no other loading. Corrected joint manual design problem
where feature was locking up if brace center lines are on the lines used to
unroll the chord. Fixed problem where loading including
CURR and WIND and analysis parameters including LDOPT, AMOD, UCPART, HYDRO,
AREA lines were corrupted after using the member distribute total load by
member group feature. Program no longer requires input for
grout and eccentricity if default values are to be used for a dented
section. Corrected problem where mud line
elevation on the WAVE line was changed when translating and selecting
the option to move skid loads, etc. Corrected the dead weight option so
that the weight of solid elements is included properly for Metric units. Changed the error check routine so that
when members with reference joints are translated and rotated, an erroneous
error message is no longer issued. Duplicate feature has been corrected so
that when the structure is translated and duplicated, the duplicated members
contain the proper member offsets. Complex pressure feature has been
improved to allow joints in the plane to be selected in a counter clockwise
or clockwise fashion. Fixed load display so that zero or
blank final magnitudes are now interpreted as 0 load instead of the same
magnitude as the initial load value. Copy load case feature has been
corrected when a load factor is input so that only the load magnitude is
factored instead of factoring both magnitude and distance. Duplicating faces now handles the
members of an X-brace properly when the x-brace members were connected to
leg joints named using the xxxL convention. Fixed problem where new joints could
not be added if 4999 joints existed unless a member divide was performed. Translate and duplicate feature has
been corrected to handle more than one duplication when new members are to
be added. Program now allows plate group name to
be specified when performing translate duplicate and adding plates. Include API 21st edition
wind data in the wind option. Added the ability to import and export
a steel detailing neutral file (SDNF).
